Keyword: Mobile was founded by David Knise, a digital executive with a 20 year track record of success serving entertainment, advertising, internet and the mobile industries.
Prior to founding Keyword: Mobile, he served as the Vice President Interactive Development for WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.) in the global media group where he launched and managed the global mobile business. In this role, David was responsible for developing the mobile strategy, product development and implementation, business development, and operations. David was also a pioneer in the off-portal content business, leading the industry with WWE to launch a full blown web store front selling ringtones and wallpapers.
While creating a multi-million dollar mobile business at WWE, David was also responsible for the introduction of PSMS and SMS campaigns, creation of downloadable video and long form mobile video products as well as introducing on-air and in-venue SMS voting campaigns.
David’s role prior to WWE was for the complete creation, development and production for all of AMC’s (American Movie Classic) digital products and services, including consumer and trade websites, and other interactive television products. This position encompasses servicing all of the company’s Internet needs through the management of an in-house creative/production unit, as well as various relationships with outside experts.
Prior to joining AMC, David gained several years of startup experience. David was part of the startup team of a successful dot-com, and launched his first successful business DigitalMoon Learning Studios back in 1988.
